Mercy House - Home for Terminally Ill and Handicapped Orphans Address: Tabare 16 Rue Pierre, Port-au-Prince, Haiti The Mercy House Handicapped and Dependent Orphanage currently has 65 severely handicapped children, nearly all of which were abandoned immediately after birth before arriving at Mercy and Sharing. The orphanage is located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It is a 24-hour care facility since most of the children have substantial needs for full-time attention. Our housemothers monitor the children around the clock and our physiotherapists provide the children with daily therapy sessions. Our goal at M&S is to keep quality life as high as possible for these special children for as long as they are in our care. |
