Sponsor an Orphan:

The Mercy House Orphanages are home to more than 106 healthy and disabled/terminally ill children. Nearly seventy percent of our children are disabled/terminally ill and get the best medical care available, including life-changing physical therapy. Your sponsorship will provide food, clothing, education and medical attention for these orphaned children. These children will be the leaders of tomorrow—be a part of that!!  Sponsor today.

Educate a Child:

Education is the hope for the children of Haiti. They sacrifice for an opportunity at an education that will help them recover from abject poverty.  Your sponsorship of a student at one of Mercy & Sharing’s two schools will give the children access to solid teaching, books, supplies and opportunity. Teachers are the architects of future generations of young minds. The Mercy & Sharing teachers are making a difference in the life of these kids – 98% of our kids at the John Brachizio school passed their national exams, compared to 40% of students from other schools in our department. Your sponsorship of a teacher will pay their salary, allow them to attend ongoing training and provide them with the tools they need to teach the future leaders of Haiti. Sponsor today.

Sponsor a Shipping Container:

Annually, Mercy & Sharing imports between six and twelve 40 ft. ocean shipping containers full of food, clothing, automobiles, vitamins, diapers and other needed supplies – usually all donated to Mercy & Sharing. Due to our NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) status, we are exempt from paying Haitian taxes on these supplies and materials – these containers are critical to the operations of Mercy & Sharing.

Unfortunately, each container costs us roughly $7,000 just to ship it from Miami, Florida to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. As you can see, this is a major expense for Mercy & Sharing.
