Mercy and Sharing Foundation MSF is currently focused on Haiti, an island nation of over 8 million population where almost 75% of the population is children. Haiti is universally acknowledged to be the poorest nation in the western hemisphere, as environmental degradation and overpopulation have combined to create hellish conditions. Haiti experiences unemployment of over 70% and the average wage of those lucky enough to find employment is the equivalent of approximately US $150.00 per year. |
