Paulette & Phaeton Feeding Programs

HaitiChildren operates a daily feeding program in two very poor communities in the northern Haiti region of Cap-Hatien. Children, elderly and disabled residents of Paulette and Phaeton gather everyday at noon for a hot meal consisting of vegetables, dry fish, corn, rice and beans. The cooks serve over 950 people each day who have traveled on foot from 10 local districts. Limited access by ID cards ensures food is given to those most in need.

In the North, the Vibrant Village Foundation and HaitiChildren work to reach the most vulnerable children and elderly in the poor villages of Paulette and Phaeton. The program provides 30,000 hot, nutritious meals a month to over 1,000 children and seniors, while also offering free medical check-ups.

The Paulette and Phaeton Feeding Programs are made possible by the generous contributions provided by The Vibrant Village Foundation, one of HaitiChildren’s partners in ministry.
